These Terms of Use govern your use of Plants Care, an independently operated website based in Ukraine.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Plants Care, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or its tools.

2. Eligibility and permitted use

You may use the site for personal, lawful, non-commercial plant-care research and planning. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with the laws that apply to you.

3. Educational nature of the content

Plants Care provides general educational information about indoor plants. Plant profiles, problem guides, comparisons, and tools are intended to help you decide what to observe and consider; they are not instructions that fit every plant or home.

4. No professional advice

The site does not provide professional botanical, horticultural, veterinary, medical, or other professional advice. It cannot confirm a diagnosis from a photo, a single symptom, or a tool response. For a pet's possible plant exposure or health concern, contact a veterinarian or an appropriate animal poison-control service.

5. No guaranteed plant outcome

Plant responses depend on many conditions and may change over time. We do not guarantee that following site content will prevent damage, solve a problem, or produce a particular growth, flowering, or recovery outcome.

6. Your responsibility

Before acting on any suggestion, evaluate the plant and its environment yourself. This includes checking soil condition, drainage, light, temperature, pet safety, and the instructions and warnings on any product label. Take particular care before changing several conditions at once or using fertilizers, pesticides, or other products.

7. Watering Assistant limitations

Watering Assistant uses the selections you provide to suggest what to check next. It does not measure your soil, light, roots, water quality, or room conditions and does not create a fixed watering schedule. Use its result as a prompt for further observation, not as a guarantee that watering is appropriate.

8. Intellectual property

The site's original text, design, code, and organisation are owned by or licensed to Plants Care and are protected by applicable law. You may view and use the content for personal reference, but may not reproduce, republish, or distribute a substantial portion of it without permission, except where applicable law permits. Image attribution and licence information is provided where relevant.

9. Prohibited use

Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, scrape it in a way that harms availability, introduce malicious code, or use its content in a misleading or unlawful way.

10. Third-party links

The site may link to research sources, image-attribution pages, and other external websites. Those sites are independent, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, practices, or terms.

11. Affiliate links and advertising

Advertising and affiliate links are not currently enabled. If they are introduced, they will be identified where appropriate and the relevant site policies will be reviewed before release.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not make warranties that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Plants Care is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or its content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Responsibility for your use

You are responsible for your use of the site and for decisions you make about your plants, pets, home, and products. If your misuse of the site causes a claim or loss to Plants Care, you agree to cooperate reasonably in addressing it, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Changes to the site and these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue site features and may update these Terms as the site or applicable requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law in your place of residence requires otherwise.
