This Privacy Policy describes the information practices of Plants Care, an independently operated website based in Ukraine. It applies to plants-care.com and its current features.

1. Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, the hosting and delivery infrastructure may process technical request information such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device details, and security-related information. This information is used to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, and maintain its operation.

2. Information users submit voluntarily

The current site does not provide account registration, a comment system, or email subscription. If you email the contact address, you voluntarily provide the information included in that message; it is transmitted through your email provider. Choices made in Plant Finder, Compare, Problem guides, and Watering Assistant are processed in the browser by the current application.

3. Cookies and local storage

The application does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not use localStorage or sessionStorage for its tools. Hosting or security infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms, including cookies, where needed to provide, secure, or troubleshoot the service. Those mechanisms are controlled by the relevant provider rather than by the site's application code.

4. Analytics

The current codebase does not include Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or another application-level analytics service. If analytics is added, this policy will be reviewed before it is enabled.

5. Cloudflare and hosting infrastructure

Plants Care is configured for deployment on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may process request and security information in providing hosting, network delivery, caching, and protection services. Its handling of that information is governed by Cloudflare's applicable terms and privacy documentation.

6. Advertising and affiliate links

Advertising, AdSense, and affiliate tracking links are not currently enabled. If advertising or affiliate links are introduced in the future, the site will add the appropriate disclosures and review this policy before release.

7. Third-party services

The current application does not embed third-party video, social-media widgets, remote fonts, or third-party analytics scripts. Plant-image attribution and research-source links may take you to external websites; their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. The site uses locally served application and image assets.

8. Legal purposes for processing where applicable

Where applicable under relevant law, technical information is processed to provide the site, maintain its security and reliability, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. If a future feature asks for information directly from you, the purpose and any relevant legal basis will be described at that time.

9. Data retention

The site does not currently keep application-level user accounts, contact messages, or tool submissions. Technical records handled by hosting or security providers may be retained according to their configuration and applicable policies. Retention details will be updated if the site begins storing personal information directly.

10. Data sharing

Information may be processed by service providers that operate the site's hosting and security infrastructure. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the site, its users, or others. The current application does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

11. International processing

Hosting and network providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. The safeguards and legal requirements that apply depend on the provider, the processing location, and applicable law.

12. User privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of personal information, or to object to certain processing. 13. Children's privacy

The site is not directed at children and does not intentionally collect personal information from children through its current features. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a future site feature, contact helpmefindoriginal@gmail.com.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the current service, including the security features available through the hosting infrastructure. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

15. Policy updates

We may update this policy when the site's features, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised last-updated date and, where required, additional notice.
